Infosys Technologies Ltd Hiring for Senior Manhattan WMS Consultant at Toronto, ON

Infosys is seeking a Manhattan WMS. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification :

• At least 4 years of experience in Manhattan WMOS warehouse management system
• Should have technical experience in PL/SQL, Unix Scripting and preferable experience in SCI Cognos Reporting
• Experience in leading and guiding a team of functional and technical SMEs
• Experience in working in onsite-offshore model and be able to co-ordinate with offshore on a daily basis.
• Experience in reviewing Manhattan logs, DB logs, restarts and suggest improvements. 
• Experience in trouble shooting skills and propose permanent solutions for the WMS operational and application issues.
• Co-ordinate with client and end-users to provide end to end solutions for the production incidents.
• Experience in working in various inbound and outbound functionalities of Manhattan WMOS.
• Experience in implementing Manhattan WMOS application and rolling them across distribution centers.
• Experience in Manhattan WMOS application configurations.
• Experience in Peak Season Support and should be proactive in decision making for system improvements.
• Experience in in MHE integrations and Support
• Experience in periodic Status reporting to client and Infosys

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs
