We are actively seeking a Warehouse operator/Driver candidate for a global food distribution Company in the greater Montreal, QC area. The ideal candidate must have full driver’s license with clean record and great interpersonal skill to communicate. This is a full time, direct hire position with a good benefit package.

Warehouse operator/Driver – Summary of Responsibilities:

• Plan layout of warehouse and implement new processes and procedures to achieve maximum efficiency

• Audit and report inventory levels while making recommendations on which items to order and restock

• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads

• Collaborate with other departments to meet customer and internal deadlines

• Keep up-to-date on the latest local and federal standards for quality and safety assurance

• Drive company Van/Truck to deliver the goods to clients within Greater Montreal area.

• Other duties as assigned

Driver/Warehouse coordinator – Requirements:

· Minimum high school diploma or GED required

· Must have a full drivers license (Class 5) and clean driving record required.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in warehousing and logistics preferred

· Great listening and communication skills, both verbally and in writing

· Strong time management, multitasking, and organization skills

· Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

· Active forklift certification is a plus

· While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
