JOB OVERVIEW
Working alongside the broader HR Team on the development and execution of an integrated talent acquisition strategy, as the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing candidates through various channels and provide an excellent candidate experience representing the CCS brand. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires as well as internal stakeholders. Ultimately, you will contribute to the creation of a strong talent pipeline for our CCS’s current and future hiring needs.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Develop recruitment plans by assessing requirements in consultation with HR Business Partners and internal business clients; including selection of the most appropriate recruiting tools to source the best candidates.
- Responsible for full-cycle recruitment for open positions & potential future vacancies including advertise, recruit, screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure highly qualified interested candidates are presented to hiring managers.
- Identify and utilize internal (career site, employee referral program) and external (databases, LinkedIn, job boards) resources available to assist in strategically seeking talent in a competitive recruiting environment.
- Effectively engage with top external passive talent to present CCS’s unique employer value proposition, acting as an ambassador for CCS’s employer brand.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to address talent gaps and proactively support those gaps.
- Conduct a fair and respectful selection process aligned to our organizational values and policies; ensuring a positive experience for all external and internal parties involved.
- Ensure that CCS is a diverse and inclusive workplace by leading an inclusive recruitment process, connecting with, interviewing, and hiring a diverse set of individuals through understanding and valuing different backgrounds and opinions.
- Act as a first point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Generate a talent pipeline, by advancing CCS’s employer brand, to address future business needs.
- Manage the recruitment process from end to end, ensuring a quality hire, meeting timelines and within budget.
- Deliver on established key metrics to ensure talent acquisition goals are met.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our talent acquisition strategy; always striving for continuous improvement and to position CCS as and employer of choice.
- Collaborate with other members of the Talent team on various projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of two years of experience; a combination of education and work experience in either HR or recruitment demonstrating progression and proven success.
- Energetic, tech-savvy and results oriented individual with a proven track record of delivering full cycle recruitment to enhance the business.
- Knowledge of sourcing best practices and candidate sourcing channels, negotiation skills, headhunting, and networking in recruitment circles.
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm during high volume periods.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; can prioritize and multi-task while managing multiple tasks and projects.
- Must be a team player, who can collaborate well with others and also work independently with little direction or supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and with external partners and stakeholders.
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and strong customer service skills; driven to provide a quality experience for all internal customers as well as in acting as a CCS ambassador externally.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing business conditions and shifting priorities.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred.
