Citylink is looking for a Solutions Architect to join our Team.
What you’ll do:
As Citylink’s Solutions Architect you will solve complex problems by designing or modifying technology architecture, and testing design functionality for the successful integration of software. You will maintain a keen focus on research insights to guide the design and integration processes, while evolving an in-depth understanding of the Citylink Software Platform.
You are enthusiastic about solving complex, interdependent business problems with innovative and thoughtful architecture solutions. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to endorse the most rewarding user experience possible
A week in the life of the Solutions Architect:
- Involvement in planned and unplanned business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new or existing clients
- Leading, training and supporting the software development team with both UI and backend deliverables
- Designing solutions based on the existing reference architecture over the AWS infrastructure
- Estimating cost, and preparing business cases for IT solutions, considering the AWS cloud infrastructure, licenses, development and support
- Persistently improving internal development and design techniques, maintaining documentation and providing feedback to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Assessing business requirements for an initiative or a problem
- Maintaining personal skills growth in alignment with the Company and team Strategy
To be successful, you’ll need:
- 8 + years in a Solutions Architect role
- Hands-on experience implementing mobile applications, IoT, Web applications (contents and forms) and RESTful APIs
- Robust critical thinking with problem solving aptitude
- Sound conceptual and analytical skills, demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills is support of developing solution architecture designs
- Adept business acumen and understanding of the organization strategy, with an ability to design information systems to deliver that strategy
- Hands-on expertise in UX management to meet unique Client needs around delivering flawless experience across Web, Mobile and IoT platforms
Technical Skills
- Java
- Python
- Mobile Application Development (iOS or Android)
- Preferably Dart + Flutter experience
- Relational Databases with good command of SQL (Preferably MySQL)
- Cloud Systems (Preferably AWS)

Job Type: Contract (12 Months)
Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm EST
Salary Range: $60 – $100 / Hour
Target Start Date: February 21, 2023
Location: HYBRID – 50 Vinyl Court, Woodbridge
