About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for a full-time Sales Administrator to join our team in Saint-Laurent, QC. In this role, you will aid in and maximize the productivity of sales deliverables/receivables as well as support our growing sales and operations groups.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with Fencecore’s systems to prepare/distribute customer quotes in response to requests from Account Executives
  • Utilizing Fencecore’s systems and distributor portals to provide accurate and timely ordering of products and/or services
  • Interacting directly with customers to provide status updates on orders
  • Monitoring and reporting backorders, and communicating with customers and Account Executives to provide updates and replace products if necessary
  • Coordinating shipment of hardware and software to a client or Fencecore office which requires configuration or setup
  • Assuring customers receive consistent service regarding quotes, orders, and other requests
  • Managing customer returns and creating RMAs using Fencecore’s systems, as well as coordinating returns with vendors
  • Submitting and managing Deal Registration applications on manufacturer portals based on information provided by Account Executives or clients
  • Preparing a quote/proposal that takes into account all rebates and promotions
  • Applying for front-end and back-end rebates with manufacturers and managing the collection of rebates
  • Organizing the shipment of Fencecore products to clients; tracking and managing shipments associated with service teams, and informing the appropriate team members when shipments arrive
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of relevant products and solutions, as well as participating in ongoing training in order to maintain current knowledge
  • Communicating with necessary departments and team members to inform them of pertinent information related to their function

More About You

To qualify, you will need 2 years minimum of previous experience in the IT industry product sourcing, quoting, order processing, and purchasing. A University/college degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

  • Working knowledge of Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team, multitask and have a high sense of urgency
  • Confident with customer/internal interactions
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Knowledge and experience selling IT products and industry solutions
  • IT manufacturer sales certifications (asset)
  • Working knowledge of Channel Online and/or ConnectWise (asset)
