We have an immediate opening for a Residential Electrical, HVAC &/OR Plumbing Assistant
Wage: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour.
As a member of our team, you will be assisting our licensed Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC technicians. Previous residential installation experience is an asset but not required. The successful applicant will be required to work hard and focus on customer service and a commitment to integrity. Dependant on job performance, an apprenticeship may be offered.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Candidates must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
- Additional certification or apprenticeship in relevant trades (i.e. electrical, plumbing, sheet metal) an asset, however, not required.
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong customer and people focus, good communication skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and quality performance
- Having flexibility to work extended hours
- The qualified candidate must have a strong safety background with the ability to follow and utilize all safety equipment and PPE requirements at all times.
- Must have own trade tools and PPE
- Teamwork is a priority
