ROLE: Logistics & Warehousing Manager
REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Director
LOCATION: Burnaby, BC
We are looking for a Logistics & Warehousing Manager to join the Earth’s Own Operations Team. Our
Logistics & Warehousing Manager will be responsible for managing the department’s day-to-day and long-term strategic goals to help us grow and progress, including managing budgets, leading a team, scouting for inefficiencies, and building effective business relationships.
OPPORTUNITIES
This is a very exciting time for the operation team as we continue to grow and expand! This role will be responsible for leading developing and executing effective strategic and tactical logistics & warehousing plans, in collaboration with the Supply Chain Director that drives the company’s profit and growth by delivering on time, in full in a cost-effective manner, while providing an excellent service.

EXPERIENCE
- You have a Bachelor’s and/or Certificate in the areas of operations, transportation and logistics management or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years in transportation and warehousing of food and beverages, ideally within a cold chain environment & 3 years of managing a warehouse.
- APICS CLTD or similar certifications will be an advantage.
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Strong knowledge of 3PL operations & exports/imports documentation
THINGS YOU WILL DO…
- Be a driver for change & transformation, instilling industry best practices in warehousing to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Manage relationships with 3PL partners ensuring a smooth and cost-effective operation.
- Assume ownership of the budget & P&L and work with the team to lead the deployment of CAPEX & CI projects.
- Work with the team to ensure cost-effectiveness on time & in full delivery to customers.
- Develop, manage & maintain KPIs to support team learning & growth.
OTHER…
- Travel across Canada quarterly on an ad-hoc basis
