This role presents an opportunity to join an exciting segment of the healthcare industry and one of the world’s leading healthcare companies. You will be part of the Ethicon sales team in British Columbia and through relationship building with customers will understand their needs and leverage Ethicon’s products and solutions to support them. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is a permanent full-time role.

Major Responsibilities

  • Work in close partnership with sales team to execute account plans, develop clinical relationships and provide case coverage and support.
  • Support the current business by delivering outstanding customer service and experience.
  • Find new growth opportunities and delight customers with Ethicon’s products and solutions.
  • Attainment of sales/market share objectives.
  • Execution of national/regional/local strategies for Ethicon products.
  • Provide insights on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
  • Work with members of the regional sales team to over-deliver performance goals and create an exceptionally collaborative, respectful, and fun team environment.

Profile Sought:

  • Experience: A minimum of a University Degree in business, statistics or health sciences is required; related clinical support/nursing and/or sales experience in the medical device field is a strong asset.
  • Exceptional communicator: Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Leader: You know what’s right and you influence others to make it happen. People like to work with you because you are open, respectful, and engaging.
  • Analytical beast: Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; needs to be comfortable understanding complex clinical trial data with ability to communicate this information to different types of customers.
  • Creative tenacious: The individual must be an excellent collaborator and problem solver who demonstrates a strong ability to take initiative and carry projects over the finish line, supported by their team.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
