HRIS Manager

Jonas Software – Corporate Human Resources

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the HRIS Manager will lead a team of 2 HRIS analysts with the expectation to grow the team and partner with the greater Human Resources Team to support initiatives through technology. The HRIS Manager will be responsible for the support, development and continued implementation of Human Resources technology strategies and methodologies to meet the business needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, organize and oversee a global Human Resources Information System.
  • Ability to identify issues, apply judgment to find proactive solutions within our HR system.
  • Document and maintain accurate and thorough HRIS end-user processes and procedures; and ensure training is provided to end-users across the organization.
  • Provide HCM user support through documentation, developing and facilitating training, and creating supporting materials and reports as required.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and partner with HR functional leads to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality.
  • Lead technical execution on deliverables for upcoming initiatives.
  • Maintain HR data integrity within and across systems, conduct system audits and reconcile discrepancies with other functional areas to ensure data accuracy.
  • Work closely with the Payroll Team to ensure Workday feeds accurately to Payroll and to Benefit integrations, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments as necessary.
  • Maintain awareness of Workday future releases / roadmap and the potential impact of those plans on current and future Workday functionality.
  • Manage reporting, dashboards and Workday analytics, developing standardized reports to be used on an ongoing basis.
  • Act as primary point of contact with the vendor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in Workday, with broad understanding of Workday cross functional touchpoints and their impacts within the Workday platform.
  • Workday Pro certification in one or multiple HCM modules, preferably in Talent / Performance Management, Time & Attendance and Advanced Compensation, or related experience.
  • Well versed with Workday HR subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process design, data transmission (EIB), testing and other troubleshooting support
  • Experience in designing and prototyping, testing and implementing practical HR business solutions.
  • Solid understanding of Human Resources processes and procedures with a broad knowledge of all aspects of human resources management systems.
  • Experience maintaining data integrity within and across systems, conduct system audits and reconcile discrepancies with other functional areas to ensure data accuracy.
  • Experience with report writing and database management.
  • Demonstrated experience with successfully introducing change into an organization through the implementation of systems.
