As a Business Development Manager, you will be selling Custom apparel and products to corporate clients. Y ou are responsible for prospecting to find new clients, proactively generating new leads, efficiently qualifying prospects and building long-term relationships. This position includes a base salary of $70,000-$85,000 plus commissions and a lot of other perks!

Our client is an international clothing manufacturer based in Toronto. They offer high-quality, custom apparel products and branded accessories to creators, retailers, brands, and large corporations. Some of their clients include Mark’s, Goose Island Breweries, Uber Eats, and East Coast Lifestyle among others.

THE LOCATION

This is a hybrid, inside and outside sales role

The office and showroom are located in North York, Ontario.

PRODUCTS, SERVICES, SOLUTIONS

High-quality custom apparel design, production, manufacturing, and distribution

SALES CYCLE AND PRODUCT VALUE

Average order size-$6,000-$12,000+

Average sales cycle-1-3 months

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

End-to-end services – including choosing garments, decorating, private labelling, and finishing, and managing e-comm and fulfillment

Design focus

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS

Large corporations and enterprise businesses in various industries – North American wide

Major post-secondary schools in Canada and the US

TYPICAL DAY AND DUTIES

Execute prospecting and lead generation campaigns

Proactively contact prospects across several channels

Identify decision-makers and begin the sales process

Qualify prospects and coordinate with account managers

Maintain a database of contacts using a CRM system

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$70,000-$85,000 Base Salary

$105,000 First Year OTE

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND

3 – 5 Years of Sales Experience

Experience selling to corporate marketing departments preferred

Must have full sales cycle experience

Experience in cold outreach and lead qualification

Above average attention to detail

Cold outreach and lead qualification

Full sales cycle management

Managing a growing pipeline
