Job Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve service level and reduce cost to produce and deliver.
- Collaborate in the development of the long-term strategy that will allow Labatt to operate at minimum system cost.
- Develop long-term constrained production plans for breweries, co-pack, and re-pack operations in Canada.
- Develop long-term distribution plans within Canada network including breweries, distribution centers, co-pack, and re-pack operations.
- Responsible for ensuring production and inventory plans are optimized and reflect the lowest possible cost for all Supply Chain functions.
- Work with Logistics & Supply to align long term projects, cross brewing, and greenfield opportunities.
- Work with the Commercial team through budget and 3-year plan cycle to align on volume and highlight risk from unconstrained demand plan.
- Identify cost savings opportunities through cross brewing and greenfield analysis
Job Qualifications and Competencies
- Education: University degree, preferably in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in an Operations function. Minimum of 3 years direct planning experience is required. Proven ability to achieve superior results. Proven leadership skills, with good business sense. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of distribution and customer service. Solid understanding of the beverage industry and key cost drivers. Proven ability to drive change. Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Technical Competencies: Supply Chain optimization techniques, Supply Chain modelling.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities, and able to work cross-functionally with other on sensitive issues.
- Understanding of Supply Chain processes and basic understanding of financial impacts of planning.
- Understanding of brewing/packaging capacities and related planning processes.
- Excellent computer, analytical and problem-solving skills.
