Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to oversee the daily operations of our deli department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of deli employees, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the deli department, including food preparation and presentation.
  • Train and supervise deli employees to ensure quality service and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues or complaints.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining proper stock levels.
  • Monitor and maintain deli equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase profitability and sales.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote deli products and increase sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance.
  • Create schedules for deli employees, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to deli employees.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a deli manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of employees.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase profitability.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
