Workplace

Our head office being located in Boucherville, on the South Shore of Montreal, we know that some of our employees are concerned by the roadwork being carried out in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel. Our expectations

Reporting to the Director, HR Systems and Processes, the incumbent participates in the identification, analysis, and documentation of the business needs for users of our human resources systems. In a transformational context of the HR function, this person proposes and implements functional solutions, in addition to conducting design and configuration activities. In addition to operational tasks, they will be involved in HR systems implementation and optimization projects in collaboration with all stakeholders.


Your role

  • Administer and support the various HR systems, primarily Workday and ServiceNow, in day-to-day operations by submitting tickets to the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that business needs are converted into a flexible, scalable, and sustainable HR systems configuration
  • Evaluate the feasibility of requested changes and enhancements and prioritize projects to ensure they meet the needs of the business
  • Be responsible for the design, maintenance, and configuration of their system, depending on the field of expertise
  • Implement business solutions identified to solve HR application or functional issues
  • Act as a subject matter expert for users, as well as internal and external stakeholders of various projects
  • Coordinate and participate in the deployment of new functionalities in HR systems to continuously improve service delivery
  • Design and program standardized reports or data queries using appropriate tools and systems for various internal and external stakeholders, including executives
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of HR industry trends, best practices, and latest technologies and implement them in their optimization and continuous improvement projects
  • Participate in the creation of diverse content for training or reference purposes and support knowledge transfer to affected users where appropriate
  • Share knowledge with team members to develop their multidisciplinary knowledge
  • Mentor more junior team members
  • Ensure data compliance and user security access in our HR systems by performing quarterly audits


The qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Analysis, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR systems and application analysis and development, specifically in design and configuration
  • Knowledge of select Workday applications (Human Capital Management, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Leaves, Learning, Talent/Performance, etc.) or ServiceNow (a strong asset)
  • Excellent problem solving and innovation skills
  • Ability to challenge work methods to improve business processes and maximize system investments and upgrades
  • Active listening, leadership, autonomy, organization, and attention to detail, as well as sense of initiative, detail, and urgency
  • Proven priority-setting skills
  • Ability to provide detailed schedule and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work as a team and share experience and knowledge
  • Experience in business process documentation
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle with an Agile methodology (an asset)
  • Understanding of LEAN (Six Sigma) principles and ability to apply them in a continuous improvement perspective (an asset)
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
