Job Overview:

The purpose of the Tenant Relations Liaison (TRL) is organizing and supporting ongoing activities and correspondence to ensure a good working relationship between the tenants and MQHS. This is accomplished through ensuring all tenants are living in compliance with operating agreements and Residential Tenancy Act.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the tenant onboarding process starting with reference checking and ending in the completion of all paperwork.
  • Communicates lease breaches with tenants in a timely and compliant manner. (warnings, posted warnings, written templated letters etc.).
  • Partners and assists the Maintenance team in unit visitation, the annual inspection process, and other problem-solving activities.
  • Investigates tenant incident in a compliant and timely manner, seeking respectful and fair outcomes.
  • Works in collaboration with the Tenant Services Finance Administrator to execute the eviction and arbitration process.
  • Maintains strong lines of communication with tenants, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.
  • Develops systems and process to ensure the Tenant Relations Department is running efficiently as it relates to compliance with operating agreements and leases.

Qualifications:

  • Property Management Certificate an asset
  • Strong administrative background
  • Above average communication skills
  • Ability to travel within region (drivers license and car)
  • Working knowledge of the RTA
  • Strong technical acumen
  • Stress management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Interact effectively and tactfully with people of various backgrounds and cultures.

Work Week

  • Monday – Friday – 35 hours per week
  • Alternate Flex Friday’s

Salary: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
