What we are looking for:
Medi-Share Inc is seeking a permanent part-time Registered Adult Cardiac Sonographer to work in our Stratford location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to work independently, and collaborate with interprofessional teams
- Produce high quality cardiac diagnostic medical images. These images must meet or exceed the standards set out by CorHealth.
- Produce a clear preliminary report for interpreting physicians while meeting or exceeding the standards set out by CorHealth.
- A Sonographer who holds a strong patient focus. Verbally instructing the patient of the examination and guides the patient verbally throughout to ensure the patient is comfortable for the duration of the exam.
- Keep a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation. Including proper care of machine, probes, and maintenance logs.
- Demonstrates commitment to ongoing professional development in order to continue to provide optimal patient care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, graduate of an accredited educational program in Cardiac Sonography
- Current registration with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) and/or Sonography Canada
- Current active member with CMRITO(College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario)
- Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills as relates to patient care
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrated commitment to and involvement with own profession (e.g. membership with professional association, etc.) preferred
- Experience with IV insertion and contrast echo an asset, but willing provide education and training
- Strong communication skills, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a hospital and clinic environment
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $39.00-$40.00 per hour

- Stratford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Echo Tech: 1 year (preferred)
