Job Title: Income Tax Preparer

Type of Employment: Temporary, Full-Time (March 20 – May 4, 2023)

MKP Professional Corporation requires two Tax Preparers in our Perth office. MKP Professional Corporation is a small accounting firm that provides a wide variety of accounting services to small and medium sized businesses, as well as individuals. Responsibilities include:

· Examine and prepare personal (T1) tax returns.

· Create and maintain interpersonal relationships with clients.

· Organize and prioritize work, to be completed accurately and in a timely manner.

· Perform all duties using TaxPrep, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements:

· Ability to manage time and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

· Strong problem solving skills and analytical skills.

· Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal skills.

· Previous experience using Profile and Excel is an asset.

· One year of experience performing personal tax returns is an asset

· Achieved or pursuing a post secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, or related field.

· Solid knowledge and understanding of Canadian tax laws is an asset
