Why This Role is Important:
The Marketing Coordinator, PC Telecom will be the primary support to the Manager, Retail Promotions Marketing with the end-to-end planning and execution of strategic in-store marketing and promotions campaigns to support The Mobile Shop (TMS) stores across Canada. This portfolio combines retail and Telecom marketing strategies and is critical to delivering on the in-store and post-sale experience for new and existing customers. The role will provide key support in planning and execution of key programs, tests and ad-hoc requests, program/project delivery, performance reporting and working closely with cross-functional teams and external agency partners to make it all happen. And of course, seeing opportunities to improve processes or build new initiatives is always welcome!

You’ll be mentored to skill-up on all things execution, project management, creative/messaging strategy, performance measurement and reporting, internal and external relationship management and technical skills in a fast-paced and strategically critical line of business for PC Financial & Services. You’ll also gain exposure to the wider PC Telecom portfolio to ensure the pieces you work on are aligned to the overall marketing portfolio’s activity and goals.
What You’ll Do:
In-Store Marketing Owner
- Be the owner and lead execution for operationalizing in-store marketing distributions and ad-hoc updates, including digital and print store signage, product launches, weekly sales-support collateral requests, and messaging for new digital channels within TMS locations
- Manage and improve owned, internal and partner in-store signage rotations within TMS locations, aligning our messages to our overall marketing priorities and supporting our partners in promoting their priorities
- Be the main point of contact for all in-store marketing partners to manage executions and related finances and inventory requirements
- Ownership and distribution of In-store signage on a national, regional and store-by-store basis
TMS Campaign Primary Support
- Support campaign planning, execution and reporting for a full retail calendar of multi-channel campaigns
- Kick-off and lead the execution of campaigns and projects from end-to-end, working with external agency partners, internal counterparts, translation, legal and finance to ensure all angles are covered and approved
- Work with strategic partners to build practical post-reports to understand performance, successes, and areas to improve or further test
Overall:
- Collaborate with teams across PC Financial (including Product Management, Credit Risk, Legal & Compliance, Insights & Analytics, Operations, Salesforce) and external partners (marketing agencies, vendors) in support of various initiatives
- Support in the creative process by providing assessments and inputs, consolidating feedback from key partners and supporting delivering final product to market
- Writing clear and concise agency briefs that guide the Creative Team to deliver high performing creative
- Gather insights and performance from marketing campaigns and build post-mortems/reporting to share information across the team
- Participate in brainstorming/planning sessions for campaigns and larger scale programs
- Manage French translations as required
- Support with team finances related to projects
What You Bring:
- University degree with a specialization in Marketing, Business, Commerce or equivalent field
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing – retail or telecom experience is an asset
- Highly meticulous and organized with excellent time management skills, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver impactful marketing programs
- Analytical nature; ability to provide insights and reporting on program performance
- Ability to identify, diagnose and suggest solutions for problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
