Reporting to the Manager, Demand Planning, the Demand Planning and Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory movements across all facilities, and championing collaborative planning with Operations, Customer Service and Logistics teams to ensure we meet customer demand aligned with our strategic business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Manage inventory movements between production and storage/warehouse facilities to ensure appropriate finished goods inventory levels are maintained to support demand.

· Execute, monitor and report on inventory movements across multiple facilities.

· Issue/modify/reconcile/close purchase orders for third-party finished goods.

· Analyze order releases and inventory reports (expiry, upcoming shortages, etc.) daily to identify order issues and/or errors, and communicate with key stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service, Logistics) to implement timely solutions to mitigate shortages.

· Regularly monitor finished goods inventory levels across all warehouses to mitigate overstock issues.

· General responsibilities of coordinating inventory counts and reviewing reports to ensure inventory levels are accurate in ERP system.

· Collaborate with key stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Logistics) to ensure customer demand trends are accurate and support strategic business objectives.

· Support Demand Planning activities for Made to Order products, SKU rationalization, and forecast accuracy.

· Develop, maintain, and report on the following key performance indicators for finished goods inventory: Overstock inventory, Days on hand, Sales shortages by leading cause/factor (Fill Rate)

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for this position include:

· Post-Secondary education in a Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, and/or equivalent relevant experience.

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a food-based environment.

· Experience using ERP systems and reports in a manufacturing environment.

· Exceptionally detail-oriented, with a proven ability to produce error-free work.

· A highly motivated, self-starter with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with a strong bias for action.

· Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes.

· Excellent time management and organization skills.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Highly effective written and verbal communications skills.

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
