Reporting to the Director, Academic Partnership and Early Talent Acquisition, the Early Talent Acquisition Recruiter – Vancouver will be responsible for supporting QuadReal’s Early Talent Recruitment attraction, engagement and recruitment strategy for students and new grads. QuadReal’s Talent Early program has had some significant growth over the past 3 years, playing a pivotal role in QuadReal’s growth and future workforce. We are looking for someone that is passionate for early talent, enjoys relationship building internally and externally with stakeholders, and is focused on fostering a strong pipeline of future talent to continue to grow our programs on and off campus.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Early Talent team, grow, maintain, and nurture relationships with post-secondary schools while partnering with career services and student groups to manage our on-campus presence.
- Assist in creating, facilitating, and attending both virtual and in person early talent events (i.e.: coffee chats, panel events, information sessions, career fairs etc.)
- Develop, implement, execute, and measure the success of early talent events while managing the early talent event calendar.
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process. Utilize the Workday ATS to manage candidates through the interview process enabling Early Talent to report on key metrics in the system.
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, business leadership and HR to be an active advisor within the Early Talent space.
- Collaborate with the greater early talent team to develop innovative ideas and strategies to attract early talent in a creative way while staying abreast of industry and early talent trends.
- Liaise and manage communications with the various campus career services offices to organize job postings and events.
- Assist with the onboarding of interns by organizing/facilitating orientation.
- Utilize social media networks such as LinkedIn and Instagram to promote the QuadReal & QuadReal Early Talent brand to attract student candidates.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on entry level hiring to ensure a coordinated approach to early talent hiring.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline
- 3 plus years of early talent recruitment experience and/or combined general talent acquisition, recruitment and human resources related experience.
- Previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System and HRIS (Workday) is required.
- Must be able to work within a fast-paced environment and handle a diverse workload; highly organized and able to multitask.
- Experience in developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify and understand hiring needs.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable in planning and facilitating presentations to a large audience both in person and virtually.
- Proven relationship management experience.
- Excellent project/program management experience and skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High energy and passion for recruiting and talent management.
- Ability to travel as needed.
