The Team:
The sales operations team acts as the strategic and operational support provider for the sales managers by guiding pricing, promotion, channel strategy, and marketing operations. The team focuses on the big picture of the market, competition, and sales strategy while also running the day-to-day controls, processes, and systems that make up the sales process.
The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Analyst will be a key contributor responsible for providing pricing and marketing operations support to the organization and assisting in completing our sales strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating pricing strategy for kobo products globally
- Setup tracking to measure pricing and promotion performance
- Be the point of contact for marketing operations which means making sure we budget for upcoming marketing activities, and tracking our marketing spend budget
- Assist in implementing major initiatives like new device launches or system upgrades
- Be the point of contact for the sales managers and assist in moving projects through the organization and help improve sales efficiency.
- Work with internal Kobo teams to develop strategic plans, and deliver outstanding results in support of key sales targets
- Insight development for Sales team, Business Development, Marketing and Sales Operations team
Nice to haves:
- 3+ years of business analytics; pricing, sales operations or business analysis experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong financial analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management, follow-up, project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills; connect with impact
- Strong decision-making skills; ability to react quickly
- Ability to work independently
- Highly proficient with Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience building business models in excel
- Experience in consumer electronics products is a plus
- Analytical experience with P&L’s & budgets is a plus
