General Summary:

We are an Ontario-based manufacturer that serves a growing North American dealer and final customer network. We are looking for a resourceful, talented, technically-minded individual to help grow and maintain our dealer and final customer base, and bring our product to market. Technical knowledge and the ability to learn about technical details and applications are welcomed. Markets include residential, commercial, retail, industrial, and institutional applications.

Requirements:

  • Experience with aluminum window and door products preferred
  • Basic carpentry, construction, and electrical knowledge is beneficial
  • Excellent oral and written communication and customer relation skills
  • Experience with basic quoting, invoicing and project closing
  • Experience with Excel, Word, Power Point, Quick Books and other office related software.

CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • Promotes/sells/maintain orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship, technical & sales support-based approach.
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current dealers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
  • Makes telephone calls and meets dealers in-person at our location to introduce product.
  • Researches sources for developing prospective dealers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective dealers.
  • Expedites the resolution of dealer questions, concerns, problems and complaints.
  • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective dealers value to the organization.
  • Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services to existing competitors and similar products.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.

COMPENSATION: Base pay + Commission

POSITION STATUS: Contract

POSITION START DATE: Immediately

Salary: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
