Your New Career
Scout Talent is working with one of Canada’s largest mining organizations for a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partnership!
To manage this contract, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Recruitment Data Strategist to join our team, operating on a hybrid work model, in Vancouver, BC.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Recruitment, you will gather and analyze economic, market, competitor, internal talent, and external candidate data and insights – overlaying them with strategic talent acquisition planning and operational requirements.
Some of your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Achieving contractual SLAs and KPIs with quarterly and annual business reporting
- Monitoring recruitment activity and activity ratios weekly, monthly, and quarterly, noting areas for improvement and success rates
- Analyzing recruitment process delays, blockers, and effort wastage and feeding through to the TA team
- Managing talent pool health, including qualified, available and interested (QIA) talent, tactical, strategic and operational talent pools
- Ad hoc reporting to support TA activity and delivery as well as maintaining data quality within TA data
- Providing detailed analysis of sourcing channels to ensure proactive identification, engagement, and attraction of talent
- Communicating recruitment success, including data on sourcing and offer channels, to hiring managers
- Managing constraints and recommending strategies for clients to achieve D&I objectives
- Improve sourcing and TA strategies by integrating LinkedIn Talent Insights with other research channels and internal talent data
- Overseeing monthly Internal Applicant analysis and insights report to Site HRMs and Manager Strategic Talent Acquisition
- Leading monthly competitor analysis and reporting to Site HRMs and Manager Strategic Talent Acquisition
- Other duties as required
About You
To qualify, you’ll preferably be someone with qualifications in HR or a related discipline. You will also join us with experience in data modelling through Power BI or a comparable enterprise reporting tool.
To qualify for this role, you need to have:
- Effective communication skills
- Strong relationship-building skills and you work well in a team
- Attention to Detail and strong time management skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of statistical and trend analysis
- Experience working with plans and Implements
- Knowledge of applicable labour laws and best practice recruitment techniques and tactics
- Experience in mining or comparable heavy industry (asset)
- Experience with Ad writing and posting to third-party job boards (asset)
