We’re looking for a Supply Chain Replenishment Planner to join our growing company and play a key role in our customer experience by ensuring each purchase ends in a smile!
In this role you will:
- Analyze trend reports and ensuring replenishment templates are updated across various systems on a regular basis to ensure that assigned region/s have adequate inventory levels to support our business requirements across all channels as prescribed guidelines for all product categories.
- Incorporate sales trend data to assess replenishment requirements taking into consideration category growth and promotional activity across our complex hub/spoke supply chain network.
- Manage shipment flow across all channels on a daily basis to ensure on-time delivery of goods from suppliers.
- Follow up with vendors on late shipments, product back orders or damaged goods to resolve issues as quickly as possible and mitigate customer back orders and impacts
- Daily review and timely follow-up on past dated purchase order report to close any outstanding issues.
- Troubleshoot problems as they occur and working with vendors, the distribution team and sales team to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Act as a key liaison between Sleep Country/Dormez-vous? and its’ vendors by communicating regularly to maintain our partnership and achieve the maximum level of efficiency and service to our customers.
- Maintain regular and ongoing communication with the Sales and Distribution teams within assigned region/s to keep them informed of Supply Chain events that impact their region such as new product rollouts, changes to replenishment/stocking programs, vendor issues and back orders, or any other issues that will directly or indirectly affect customers, sales associates, or the distribution team.
- This role is Hybrid
The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:
- Completion of a post-secondary program in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Operations (or equivalent)
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in the retail/wholesale business
- Previous experience in supply chain forecasting and replenishment with either Oracle, Logility, SAP and JDA Manugistics is an asset
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
