Exterior Sales /Estimator/ Project manager
Southern Roofing & Waterproofing is looking for roofing, siding and aluminum project management and sales representatives.
We are looking to hire a professional and skilled field sales representative/project manager to develop robust sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones by managing projects successfully to completion. A successful sales rep will be sourcing new sales opportunities and closing deals to achieve sales goals. You will be playing a vital role in increasing revenues by managing and negotiating with clients, qualifying prospects, generating leads and managing sold projects to completion. This is a senior position and we are looking for someone with natural leadership/sales skills and over a decade of experience in the roofing , exterior and/or restoration industry.

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
-Meeting with home or building owners, property managers
-Assessing conditions of the existing exterior systems (roof, siding, etc.)
-Promote installed services including Sloped and flat roofing, residential and commercial metal roofs/wall systems, synthetic and other roofing/exterior systems;
-Skylights and sun tunnels
-Soffit, fascia eavestrough and siding
-Insulation and other related areas
-Preparing detailed estimates on scope of work / Generate estimates by taking on site measurements or with the help of software or engineered drawings
-Conducting sales presentations and closing sales by using different customer sales techniques
– Forecast sales, generate “out of the box” sale methodologies and evaluate their effectiveness
– Research particular accounts and form relationships or generate repeat business via sales leads
-Attend sales events, meetings, and training sessions to keep yourself informed of the latest developments and innovations
– Expand and maintain client database within particular territory
-Provide feedback to senior management with the help of statistics
-Closing customers on needed work
-Working with a construction software that is used to work through sales process to completion – BuilderTrend
-Submitting detailed work orders for jobs that are sold that can be turned over to coordinator for scheduling and ordering – including job specific photos, diagrams, measurements, materials and any additional information
– Communicating with team, staff, customers and contractors while work in progress to troubleshoot concerns and or issues that may arise.
– Track and report on sold projects budgets to stay within budget and / or submit change orders when required.
Required Skills:
General knowledge of the industry and some sales experience required
-Extensive / documented experience with estimating and selling residential and or commercial roofing renovation and restoration projects
-excellent communication and organizational skills
-Attention to detail and ability to think outside the box
-Ability to work independently as well as in coordination with team
-Driver’s license and good drivers abstract
-Reliable, punctual and adaptable to system / process changes
-Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, word, etc)
-Solutions focused mindset with the ability to manage conflict if/when arises
-Ability to be proactive as well as reflect and make corrections in processes to avoid duplicate mistakes
Additional Assets:
-Knowledge or past experience with Builder trend
-Knowledge or past experience with Xactimate/ XACT analysis
-Knowledge or past use of Encircle, Hover, Eagle view
-Hands on experience within exterior industry (siding, roofing, etc.)
Salary plus commission structure may be available

Salary: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
