Who are we looking for?
FORKLIFT OPERATOR/MATERIAL HANDLER in Innisfil, On.
Job Type: full time
Shift: Sunday to Thursday – afternoon shift
Environment: outside work year-round, noise, vibration, dust, friendly, and encouraging.
Job Duties:
· Work with team to move product via forklift truck to various parts of the yard
· Focus on customer expectations
· Verify customer orders are accurate
· Building orders for shipping
· Effectively communicates with team on any issues or ideas for improvement
· Lifting to 20lbs. regularly, 50lbs. occasionally; push/pull up to 70lbs.
· Overtime as required
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Forklift Operator with a minimum of 1 years’ experience
· All-terrain forklift experience an asset
· Ability to use hand tools
· 1+ year(s) of construction, manufacturing, or warehousing experience an asset
· Must be comfortable outdoors in a productivity focused environment
· Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written
· Basic math skills: ability to read a tape measure, basic measurement calculations
· Must have excellent safety record and steel toe boots
· Ideal candidate will be able to start immediately
· Transportation is required, as public transit is not available
Required Experience:
· Forklift Operator: 1 year
