As Business Development Manager for Ontario, your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of customer’s businesses including strategic assessment of the business, sales forecasting, conducting regular business reviews, managing senior level relationships, and effectively activating and implementing the beverage strategy. We are looking for people that have a passion for building relationships and are results driven and with a sales focus. This role is on the Juice & Dairy business unit, accountable for exciting brands such as Simply, Minute Maid and Fairlife milk.
What you’ll do for us
Manage relationships with regional key accounts and network of wholesalers & distributors.
Prospect and develop new business across all F2T brands within foodservice, grocery + a/o channels.
Building relationships with internal/external stakeholders to help maximize product distribution and enhance market share.
Contract negotiation with new and existing accounts, working with finance and legal teams to help bring proposals to life.
Conducting reviews with finance team to determine whether proposals are financially viable for the business.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
Resolve customer concerns and issues.
Regular store and account audits to ensure product rollouts executed at outlet level.
Regular customer and key account presentations to help gain incremental volume and revenue.
Determining annual pricing, promotional calendars and other incentive programs across all distributors, resellers, and key accounts
Being the key liaison between customer and finance, supply chain, credit, and logistic teams
Resolving all customer issues as they arise – also taking a proactive approach to help mitigate problems prior to their emergence.
Focusing on product mix and higher rate per case packages to help drive system profit.
Working with customers and marketing team on executing approved DME spend
Reconciling rebates and other payments owed to customers and key accounts.
Integrated support with the Large Store team
Requirements and Qualifications:
At least 1 year of sales
Coca-Cola system experience preferred.
CPG industry experience preferred.
Strong ability to network with internal key stakeholders.
Possess persuasive selling skills.
Microsoft Office & Analytical ability skills
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma preferred
