Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, based in Toronto, the Talent Acquisition Partner maintains a positive relationship with the HR team and Hiring Managers and leads the full life cycle of recruitment initiatives for a spectrum of positions across all divisions and locations (North America & globally).

This role offers flexibility with a hybrid model in place; two days in the office, in Toronto’s Downtown Financial district.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Lead the full recruitment cycle from hiring strategy to offer negotiation and onboarding while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Build and nurture an active pipeline of candidates through diverse sourcing techniques with a client-centric perspective
  • Advise and support hiring managers in recruitment standard processes, and best practices that are in alignment with the vision and strategies of the company
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to craft and effectively communicate the value proposition to candidates in order to attract outstanding talent
  • Work with HR and assigned business unit(s) to create and implement staffing plans and activities
  • Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies: leverage sourcing tools and avenues to source active and passive candidates, create and maintain a network of contacts, including online recruiting resources, to help identify and source qualified candidates
  • Screen candidates for skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements using behavioural-based interview techniques
  • Build reports and present analysis to hiring managers on market trends and data
  • Act as a brand ambassador for TMX by being a champion of our employee value proposition and our values
MUST HAVES:
  • University or College Degree in Human Resources or related experience
  • 3-5 years of experience leading full life-cycle recruiting in a corporate environment with deep expertise in all aspects of attracting, sourcing, and assessing talent
  • Excellent candidate search skills with advanced level sourcing and engagement using in-house ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, personal networks, and other sources
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects with excellent organizational skills; prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members across the organization through solid verbal presentation and written skills
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver through a consultative approach, build strong collaborative relationships, influence key collaborators, and gain consensus to achieve results
  • Highly self-directed and solutions focused, finding opportunities for improvement, highlight and mitigate risks, and provide useful recommendations
  • Excellent proficiency of Microsoft Office programs and experience with an Applicant Tracking System and HRIS
  • Open to partake in HR duties outside of the scope of talent acquisition
