Wabash Mfg. Inc. is a manufacturing and repair facility located in Westlock, AB. We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator with payroll and accounting experience to join our on-site administrative team.

The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Full-cycle Recruitment
  • Employee retention, training/development, turn-over & engagement programs
  • Research, implement, communicate, up-date & continuous follow-up on HR policies/procedures/programs
  • Full-cycle payroll using WFN
  • Personnel issues
  • Health benefits, RRSP & apprenticeship programs Administrator
  • Employee performance evaluation programs
  • Provide HR support & training to Management & Supervisors
  • HR-related Compliance (documentation, legal, ISO, legislation, etc)
  • Coordinate with local organizations to support training programs and recruitment efforts
  • Stay current with HR & Employment legislation
  • Participate in safety program management (WCB, Avetta, budget, policies)

Required Qualifications:

  • Business Management post-secondary program completion with human resources and/or accounting focuses
  • Experience working with Trades personnel in manufacturing shop environments
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive Attitude and willingness to assist in all administrative functions
  • Minimum Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office

Nice to have Qualifications:

  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now payroll program for hourly paid labour force
  • ERP system experience
