Job Description:
Yaletown is seeking an accountant to join its finance team and be part of Yaletown’s growing Vancouver office.
As an accountant, you will take ownership of the full cycle accounting of an investment fund(s) which includes preparing quarterly and annual reporting packages to our investors, annual audit, regular tax and other compliance filing and cash monitoring. You will assist our investment team in calculating valuation adjustments and responding to investor requests. The ideal candidate should be able to process map deadlines, identify critical constraints and allocate time and resources accordingly.
Yaletown is in a period of sustained growth and the candidate will also be drawn upon to help with process mapping, identifying process flow improvement, and process documentation.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and able to problem solve
- Intermediate/advanced excel skills
- CPA designation (will consider those who are in progress)
